Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, scattered, sessile, straight or slightly curved, unbranched, black, 1–5 mm long, 0.3–0.7 mm wide; lips initially closed, opening to form a slit, with a conspicuous thalline margin. Proper exciple reddish brown, complete. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick. Ascospores biseriate, rounded-oblong, 4-locular, (16–) 18–26 × 6–10 µm, I+ pale blue. CHEMISTRY: 2-Methoxypsoromic acid. |
